Senior Full-Stack AI Agent Engineer (React/Electron)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build the Eigent desktop and web application. You will own the front-end architecture of our AI agent platform — a React/Electron app that lets users orchestrate, monitor, and interact with AI agents in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build features across the React/Electron desktop app and Next.js web frontend
  • Design and implement real-time agent communication interfaces (WebSocket, SSE)
  • Collaborate with backend and AI teams to define and consume APIs
  • Own the performance, accessibility, and polish of the user interface
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to front-end standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Deep expertise in React (hooks, state management, performance optimisation)
  • Experience building Electron desktop applications
  • Comfortable with TypeScript and modern tooling (Vite, Webpack, etc.)
  • Experience with real-time data (WebSocket, SSE) preferred
  • Strong product intuition and attention to design detail

This is a high-impact role at a small, fast-moving team. You will have direct influence over the product experience and the technical direction of the front end.
