AI Engineer – CAMEL Framework

Join Eigent to work on the CAMEL Framework — one of the leading open-source multi-agent AI frameworks. You will contribute to the core library, design new agent capabilities, and help shape the future of autonomous AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the CAMEL Framework open-source project (Python)
  • Design and implement new agent types, memory systems, and tool integrations
  • Collaborate with the research team on multi-agent coordination protocols
  • Write benchmarks and evaluations for agent performance
  • Review community pull requests and mentor contributors

Requirements

  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Experience with multi-agent frameworks or autonomous AI systems
  • Solid understanding of prompt engineering and chain-of-thought reasoning
  • Comfortable working in an open-source, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written communication for async collaboration
