AI Engineer – CAMEL Framework

Join Eigent to work on the CAMEL Framework — one of the leading open-source multi-agent AI frameworks. You will contribute to the core library, design new agent capabilities, and help shape the future of autonomous AI systems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the CAMEL Framework open-source project (Python)
Design and implement new agent types, memory systems, and tool integrations
Collaborate with the research team on multi-agent coordination protocols
Write benchmarks and evaluations for agent performance
Review community pull requests and mentor contributors

Requirements

Strong Python skills and familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Experience with multi-agent frameworks or autonomous AI systems
Solid understanding of prompt engineering and chain-of-thought reasoning
Comfortable working in an open-source, fast-paced environment
Excellent written communication for async collaboration
