Eigent is an Agentic Workspace that helps you turn context into finished work. Instead of starting from a blank chat, Eigent works best when it understands your workspace, files, goals, and tasks.

This guide will walk you through the basic flow: install Eigent, give it the right context, and start working with your AI workforce.

1. Install Eigent and sign in

   Download and install Eigent on your desktop.

   Once installed, open the app and sign in to your account. This lets Eigent save your workspace context and prepare your agentic working environment.

2. Select a folder to work on

   Choose a folder that contains the files, projects, or materials you want Eigent to understand.

   This could be:

   • A product project folder
   • A design or research folder
   • A codebase
   • A business document folder
   • A workspace for a specific client, team, or goal

   Selecting a folder helps Eigent understand the real context of your work, instead of only relying on what you type into the input box.

3. Ask Eigent to explore your folder

   Once the folder is selected, ask Eigent to inspect it and explain what it finds.

   For example:

4. Tell Eigent your goal

   After Eigent understands the context, describe what you want to achieve.

   For example:

   The clearer your goal is, the better Eigent can break it down into useful tasks.

5. Start working with tasks

   Eigent can help you move from goal to execution by creating and working through tasks.

   You can ask it to:

   • Plan the work
   • Review files
   • Generate content
   • Organize information
   • Update documents
   • Help with research
   • Work across multiple project steps

   Eigent is not just a chat interface. It is a workspace where context, memory, tasks, and tools come together to help you deliver real results.
